The Westlake Education Foundation was founded in 1987 as a community trust to meet the needs of education beyond the scope of traditionally funded programs.
The Westlake Education Foundation (WEF) is sanctioned by the Westlake Board of Education, but it is also an independent non-profit organization with501(c)(3) status, allowing all contributions to be tax deductible.
The WEF is run by an elected Board of Trustees. All Trustees are Westlake business, professional, or community leaders and parents.
